Joan Stokely is the president of The Society of Diplomacy, Inc., a firm specializing in diplomatic skills using the foundation of business protocol and etiquette. She is also the director and founder of The Protocol School of Philadelphia whose training focuses on children and teens. She is a professionally trained and certified protocol and etiquette consultant.

As an etiquette expert, Joan has been cited in The Washington Post, The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Delaware News Journal, Delaware Today, The Chester County Daily Local and many other news journals. Joan is the etiquette contact for CBS 3 working with various anchors and staff. Fox 29 also seeks advice from Joan for their "Ask the Expert" segment.

Prior to Joan's etiquette business, she worked in corporate finance at Jefferson University and later owned her own accounting firm for 17 years.

During her workshop, Joan will teach participants to use proper protocol and etiquette when dealing with corporate guests. She’ll touch on: giving extreme attention to every detail, working the room, caring for your guests with the highest level of service, showing your guests that you are happy to have them present and knowing your host responsibilities for a restaurant lunch.
